We have absolutely loved our Kiwi Sport and soft ball training this term. In fact we have some real talent in Room 6 both with our pitching and batting skills.

End of Year Whanau Celebration Get Together.
We all had a fabulous get together to celebrate the end of the year. It was awesome to see so many of our tamariki and their whanau relaxing and having fun. The tamariki all did a fantastic job with their dancing by really capturing the essence of the theme 'Dances from around the World.'

Collaborative Construction Art.
Collaborative Construction Art.
This week the tamariki decided that they wanted to move away from the paper themed construction art and work with hard materials such as Lego and Wooden Blocks. We decided as a class that we could choose whether or not we wanted to work by ourselves or with a buddy. Prior to designing and constructing our work we also decided that the Lego designs would be based on a vehicle and our Wooden Block designs would resemble a small village or township.
