Room 6 Panui

A TIME TO CELEBRATE NEW BEGINNINGS.

Room Six Whanau and I have had time to get to know each other and we have had a wonderful start to Term 1. Room 6 is part of the Karawha Team and although your child’s Home Room is Room 6, they may go to Room 7 for Literacy and Numeracy. We will also teach collaboratively during our Art and Inquiry Programmes. The Karawha Team work closely together to  ensure a strong unity and consistency among us all. A sense of whanaungatanga is an essential part of what the Karawha Team is all about.  

Numeracy and Literacy Focus.

This term we are focusing on developing our Basic Facts skills and learning how to make and read graphs. 

During our Writing lessons we will be developing our recount writing skills, the art of retelling a story in our own words.

Home Learning.

Your child will bring their Home Learning home on Mondays and it is due back on Fridays to be marked.
